Customer commitment fee
When you send a service request to a provider, you pay a commitment fee shown before checkout (currently $50). The fee is credited in full toward the price of the job when you accept the provider’s quote. If the accepted quote is lower than the fee, the difference is refunded when you book.
When the commitment fee is refunded
- The provider declines your request.
- The provider does not send a quote within the response window (currently 24 hours).
- You cancel the request before a quote arrives.
- You decline a quote, or it expires unaccepted, unless a different rule was shown at the time you sent the request.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to show the credit.
Paying for the job
When you accept a quote, you pay the balance – the quoted price minus the commitment fee – by card through the platform. AutoServe360 collects the payment on the provider’s behalf through Stripe and holds it until the job is complete. Your phone number and email are shared with the provider once you book, and the provider’s phone number is shared with you.
Completion, problems and disputes
After the provider marks the job complete, confirm it from your account or report a problem. If you do neither within the confirmation window (currently 3 days), the job is confirmed automatically and the provider is paid. If you report a problem, the payout is held while AutoServe360 reviews the job and may issue a full or partial refund where appropriate. Changes to scope or price agreed on site should be reflected in a revised quote before additional work.
Provider platform fee and payouts
Providers list for free and pay AutoServe360 a percentage of the value of each completed job booked through the platform (the platform fee), deducted before payout. The rate that applies is the one shown when the request was sent. Payouts are sent to the provider’s connected Stripe account after the job is confirmed; Stripe then deposits funds on the provider’s payout schedule.
Payment processing
Payments, refunds and payouts are processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy practices. AutoServe360 does not store full card or bank numbers. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Questions about a charge? Contact AutoServe360 with your request reference number.
